Pau-ferro: Também conhecida como Jucá, é uma arvore de grande porte, nativa da Mata Atlântica, ocorrendo do sudeste ao nordeste do Brasil, nas florestas pluviais de encosta atlântica. A madeira do pau ferro é muito dura, provavelmente a mais densa e pesada das Américas; sendo chamada de ébano brasileiro.

Pau Ferro Tree: Also known as Jucá, it is a large tree, native to the Atlantic Forest, occurring from the southeast to the northeast of Brazil, in the pluvial forests of the Atlantic slope. The wood of the iron stick is very hard, probably the most dense and heavy of the Americas; being called Brazilian ebony.
